The banded malachite stone is a striking shade of green with characteristic bands of color streaking across the dome cut stone giving a wonderful vibrancy to this pendant. As this is a natural stone, the shade of green varies from pale green to dark green.
Malachite is a natural stone that was ground down and used to create the beautiful greens that can be seen to this day in the Book of Kells. Its connection to Ireland's history is strong, we are delighted to be able to create beautiful jewelry to showcase the vibrancy of this stone!
