The Trinity Knot is engraved on top, left and right of the cross using a single line and on the bottom of the cross using double lines. The "Trinity Knot" symbolizing the "Holy Trinity" is often found carved on Irish high crosses, or in the beautifully decorated pages of illuminated manuscripts such as the Book of Kells, a hand decorated book of the four Gospels, now housed at Trinity College, Dublin as one of Ireland's national treasures.
Actual size of the cross is 14/16" high, measured without including the piece that attaches to the chain, and 9/16" wide. The cross comes with a 14k 18 inch chain.
