Introducing our Handmade Irish Timber Ring Box
Written by Ciaran Vipond on July 19, 2023 | 2 Comments
At My Irish Jeweler, we pride ourselves, not just on the fine quality of our jewellery, but on its beautiful presentation too. That's why we are thrilled to offer our customers a truly unique Irish box for their forever ring from Ireland.
The Box
Beautifully refined, these lovely wooden boxes have been handmade from a gorgeous combination of Irish hardwoods, elm and sweet chestnut. Sourced from windfall Irish timber, they have been painstakingly worked to perfection, producing a tactile box with a pleasing weight, and softly rounded edges.
Expertly finished
With weighted brass hinges and linen lining, each box has been made with natural, biodegradable, and sustainable materials. These gorgeous boxes are finished to perfection and treasures in their own right.
Limited Edition
Certainly, a match made in heaven for our beautiful heirloom rings. With only 50 boxes made, these handmade treasures are limited and sure to go fast.
The Maker
We were lucky to work with fantastic people to made this box a reality. A long search lead by Studio Suss, found the perfect maker. Tony Monaghan of Woodlea.ie is a master woodworker based in Co. Wicklow. Tony shares our passion for quality and attention to detail. He immediately understood what we needed and set about painstakingly handcrafting our boxes.

My Irish Jeweler
Born in Co. Antrim and reared in Dublin, I was fascinated with Gaelic culture from an early age. I suppose it's not surprising given my mother inherited a grá for the Irish language from my grandfather, an Irish school headmaster. And that grá continues! My brother and sister are now Gaelic teachers here in Ireland, my niece is an award winning Irish dancer, and I proudly work to share Irish culture through our Irish and Celtic Jewelry at My Irish Jeweler!
I love researching and reading about the history of Irish design. It's at the core of what we do here at My Irish Jeweler. I find much of it so interesting that I have to share what I find. I hope you enjoy it!
Your jewelry is very beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
