The romantic lyrics of "Still In Love with You” came to mind when we heard this decade's long love story of Thin Lizzy fans, Sarah & Brad. These lovebirds from Australia shared with us a bit about their story, and why they chose Celtic Knot Rings to symbolise their vows.

How did you two meet?
Sarah: “As teens we met and fell in love. Life's journey put time between us. After 41 years our love to reignite on destiny’s path.”
Why were you drawn to Irish rings?
Sarah: “We chose My Irish Jeweler because we are huge Thin Lizzy - Phil Lynott fans and will one day have our honeymoon In Ireland.”

How did you celebrate your Big Day?
Sarah: “We eloped as our day was just that - our day. We made books for all our family with photos and our vows.”
Sarah and Brad are looking forward to many years of music to come.
Any advice for couples?
Sarah: “Our advice for couples would be - Don’t hold anything back- Talk about anything and everything- Hold hands, kiss and cuddle at every opportunity. Love each other unconditionally. Laugh and smile because you have everything you need by your side.”

My Irish Jeweler
I was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Thanks to my Irish born father I was lucky enough to regularly visit Ireland -- and receive visitors from Ireland often, to my childhood home. This blending of cultures triggered my interest in Irish art and culture. My love for jewelry was nurtured by my American mom who is an artisan jeweler and dealer. I grew up loving Ireland and jewelry!
Now I happily reside in Dublin, having read Irish Literature and History at Trinity College Dublin. Having a passion for Irish literature, I am particularly interested in the work of poet W.B. Yeats. With the Celtic Revival in the 20th century, Yeats and his contemporaries did much for Irish arts and history. Many of our beautiful pieces at My Irish Jeweler are inspired by the myths and legends, as well as artwork, which gained permanence in Irish heritage as a result of the Celtic Revival.
I look forward to sharing the history and stories which influence the inspiration for our pieces with the My Irish Jeweler readers.
