Everyone likes to look their best, especially in summer when there are parties and events galore.

We've always focused on timeless elegance and craft with our jewelry, and it seems our approach is winning fans! This summer's jewelry trends are all about investing in quality and pieces with personal meaning. So these five 2026 "trends" will certainly see you through this summer, and many more to come!
Striking the perfect balance between timeless and on trend, these are jewelry box staples that you can return to again and again to put the finishing touch on a stylish look.
1. Souvenir Style
Being summer, it makes sense that one of the biggest trends of the season is tied to travel. Specifically, wearing pieces tied to places you have visited, or places with special meaning for you. More than just a simple souvenir, these pieces are mementos of a cherished connection or remembrance that also allow you to incorporate your life's journey, telling a little bit of your story through your jewelry while showing your personality.
We must admit we had a very hard time choosing just a few pieces to showcase this trend when everything in our collection could justifiably be a lovely memento of a connection to Ireland! In the end, we selected pieces that showcase an actual piece of Ireland, with Connemara Marble, notable landmarks like our impressive high stone crosses, and of course, the iconic Irish Cladding ring!
Connemara Marble
Set with "Ireland's Gemstone" each piece is unique with more than 40 shades of green spanning from dark and moody to light and bright.
High Crosses of Ireland
Recreating the spectacular designs of ancient stone crosses still standing in Ireland today after more than 1000 years, these solid sterling silver, yellow or white gold heirlooms have been built to last.

An iconic Irish design beloved on this island and recognisable across the globe as a symbol of Ireland, with the heart, crown, and hands representing love, loyalty, and friendship.
2. Vibrant Gemstones
Brightly colored gemstones are going from strength to strength, with this jewelry trend building for several years and showing no sign of slowing. Vibrant hues add a bit of zest and fun to any outfit, showing the lighter side of your personality. These bright pieces are sure to bring a smile every time they are worn and are the perfect match for sunny days.
We've always been fans of emerald, ruby, and sapphire here at My Irish Jeweler, but we are pleased to see other vivid stones like amethyst and peridot getting a look in too!
And if you can’t settle on one color, you can always go for a piece that combines several for maximum impact!
3. Gold
After silver taking the lead for a time, gold is back on top this season. We think nothing looks finer in high summer than a carefully chosen piece of gold jewelry to match those long golden evenings.
Savvy shoppers are investing in quality pieces with timeless elegance or even sculptural designs, despite gold prices at an all-time high.
For a more accessible take on this trend, gold vermeil is a wonderful option with all the warmth of solid gold but at a considerably lower price point.
4. Medallions and Medals
They have been around for millennia, but this season they are coming into their own. Medals and medallions are often deeply personal and meaningful, worn and treasured for a lifetime, and then passed on as heirlooms. Worn solo or layered, these substantial pieces can be styled with almost any look.
5. Cuffs
We know... again! Bangles and specifically cuff or torc style bangles have been top of the jewelry trend list for several years running! It seems our Celtic ancestors were real trendsetters!
A staple of high status jewelry collections for thousands of years here in Ireland, torc bangles have been gracing all the most stylish arms for a few years now, and this trend is showing no signs of going anywhere. A little bit of modern day armour that gives an instant lift! Whether polished and refined, stacked, or statement and chunky, a great bangle or torc can be paired with everything from stylish suits in the boardroom to bikinis on the beach.
