Customer Stories: Christmas Edition

Written by Ciaran Vipond on Dec 13, 2022 | 0 Comments

With all the rushing around at this time of year it can be hard to pause and take stock of what is most important. For all of us here at My Irish Jeweler the answer is easy - our friends and family which of course includes our wonderful customers.

As a small Irish family business, we value our wonderful customers hugely. We are delighted to connect with friends around the world who have chosen to include My Irish Jeweler in their stories.

Here are some customer stories from last holiday season that have really warmed our hearts and given us the drive to make sure 2022 is another wonderful My Irish Jeweler Christmas for our friends around the word:

Love, Loyalty, & Friendship

For Family

The Claddagh has been an Irish emblem of love, loyalty, and friendship for over four centuries. We've been honoured to provide lovely pieces of claddagh jewellery for Christmas and many more milestones besides.

So we were just delighted when Emery Perkins from Pennsylvania, got in touch with this wonderful note just after Christmas last year:

"Necklace is beautiful. It was a Christmas gift for a family member who has been to Ireland, and someone we have recently reconnected with. The meaning of the Claddagh and the beauty of how the necklace is made brought her to tears. And a bonus is that she had visited where the Connemara marble is mined while she was visiting Ireland!"

Thank you Emery! We were so pleased to hear that your lucky family member loved their claddagh. We really appreciate the time taken to send us your kind note.

For a Soul Mate, Anam Cara

Ryan Pendergast from New York also chose a Claddagh, a ring this time, and our hearts were warmed to receive his note:

"My soulmate loves the ring has not taken it off since I gave it to her. Thank you so much for the quick delivery. It really made her Christmas and it made mine too. My soulmate and I also have Irish heritage and would be a dream to get to come visit your beautiful country and get to see where and how the jewellery is made one day. Thank you so very much again from America! Erin go bragh!"

Thank you Ryan! We hope you and your Anam Cara have another wonderful Christmas this year and that we see you both soon in Ireland. Nollaig Shona Daoibh.

Claddagh Jewellery

Our Claddagh collection features rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings with beautiful symbolism perfect for dear friends, family, and loved ones.

Connemara for Christmas

We cheer in the workshop we hear from customers who got their last minute gift and "won" Christmas with a thoughtful piece of Ireland. Found exclusively on Irelands Wild Atlantic, Connemara Marble is truly a piece of Ireland and a winner year round set in our jewellery, but especially at Christmas.

Lude Kemock got in touch to let us know that their gift arrived and was received with delight:

"Connemara Marble necklace for my Irish wife for Christmas...arrived in time and she loved it."

We are so glad to hear that your gift was a success! We work like Santa and the elves to get gifts out to all in time for the big day. Happy Christmas to you and yours this Christmas!

Connemara Marble

No two pieces of “Ireland’s Gemstone” are alike, making each piece a genuine, one-of-a-kind, treasure, sourced, and handmade here in Ireland..

Celtic Christmas

With symbolism that speaks of eternity, strength and unity, celtic knots and symbols like the celtic tree of life, make for deeply meaningful and beautiful gifts year round and especially at Christmas.

Kathleen got in touch from Pennsylvania to let us know that she was very pleased with her Celtic Knot earrings:

"Absolutely wonderful!! The earrings are beautiful and arrived before Christmas as promised. My favourite Jeweler!!"

High praise indeed. We will wear that badge of honor with pride Kathleen, thank you!

And Heather Schlittler was equally delighted with her Celtic Tree of Life pendant:

"Absolutely beautiful. Delivery in two days from Dublin to Boston! Just in time for Christmas Day. I love it. Thank You so much."

Our pleasure Heather and thank you for taking the time to get in touch. We hope Christmas in Boston finds you well this year.

And we were not at all surprised to get not one, but two lovely notes about our Celtic Warrior Necklace last Christmas. Ralph Riggin was in touch from Pennsylvania to say:

"Hello, My Christmas gift to my fiance went over very well, in her words she loved it. I'm very grateful that I found your site..."

This intricate, two tone, pendant was also a hit with daughters, according to Rodney Drought from Arizona:

"It was a wonderful experience. My daughter love's the pendent and your service was outstanding."

Thank you both Ralph and Rodney for your kind words and wonderful support. We are so pleased this lovely pendant proved to be a cherished gift for your nearest and dearest.

My Irish Jeweler

Born in Co. Antrim and reared in Dublin, I was fascinated with Gaelic culture from an early age. I suppose it's not surprising given my mother inherited a grá for the Irish language from my grandfather, an Irish school headmaster. And that grá continues! My brother and sister are now Gaelic teachers here in Ireland, my niece is an award winning Irish dancer, and I proudly work to share Irish culture through our Irish and Celtic Jewelry at My Irish Jeweler!

I love researching and reading about the history of Irish design. It's at the core of what we do here at My Irish Jeweler. I find much of it so interesting that I have to share what I find. I hope you enjoy it!
