About This Piece

This filigree cross is a truly striking piece with colour and sparkle that really makes an impact. A round cut vibrant green emerald sits pride of place in the centre of the cross in a secure rub over setting and is a beautiful contrast to the rich warmth of the yellow gold vermeil. A halo of twelve channel set round CZ stones added a touch of sparkle, with fine milgrain detailing giving a vintage feel.

The elegant arms of the cross are formed by a delicate filigree lattice made of intricate celtic knot work, including subtle Trinity Knots. Representing the holy trinity and eternity, this is a fitting symbol for a Celtic Cross, itself an iconic symbol of faith and Irish culture.

Crafted in solid sterling silver with a thick, 3µm layer of 14K gold vermeil, this piece has been hallmarked at Dublin castle assuring quality.
