Faithful to the form of a traditional rush cross, with a textured feel, these striking matching pieces have been carefully crafted in solid sterling silver and set with iconic Irish Connemara marble. The instantly recognisable cross is an ancient design that traces its roots back hundreds of years to Ireland’s female patron saint, and beyond to the Celts and the goddess Brigid.
Rush crosses like these are still hung in many Irish homes each February 1st for protection and to mark Brigid's day and the start of Celtic spring. Traditionally these crosses are woven from green rushes or reeds the night before and hung by the door to protect the home. Today, many wear the Brigid Cross year round as a symbol of strength and protection.
Uniquely Irish and made with marble famous for it's varied green tones, each of these items are a piece of Ireland sourced from the Wild Atlantic Way in Connemara. Steeped in Celtic folklore and Irish history, worn solo or as a set, they make a spectacular gift or a treasure to give you strength.
Hallmarked in historic Dublin Castle assuring the quality of the sterling silver, these lovely pieces will arrive packaged in a beautiful box perfect for gifting - a lovely keepsake to mark milestones.
Choose from four different matching sets. Perfect for wearing together for a cohesive look or as individual treasures to bring a splash of interest to any outfit:

We completed a trip to Ireland three months ago and visited the Saint Brigid memorial. My wife loves her cross as it serves as a beautiful reminder of Irish history and our trip there!

I read the meaning of St Brigid’s Cross and bought it for my daughter who had moved into a new residence with her family. My wife and daughters are frequent recipients of My Irish Jeweler’s ear rings, necklaces, and bracelets. There was a slight hick-up in the delivery where I had put in a wrong digit in the address of my daughter’s new home. Well my favorite Jewelers’ turned my mistake into a wonderful surprise for my daughter with their relentless pursuit of said package. I was kept in the loop with their great Customer Service, Vicky and others. Thanks for a great experience and good to know this kind of support is behind every sale.
