About This Piece

The marvellous and intricate design of this Celtic Cross is inspired by the a famous Irish treasure, the Ardagh Chalice, found in Lough Gur Co Limerick in 1868.

A rose gold boss at the centre of the cross is adorned with a 'shield decoration' inspired by the armour of our ancient ancestors. The intricate Celtic pattern throughout are picked out by the oxidised finish to the sterling silver, giving this cross an old world feel. A distinctive and stylish cross with exquisite attention to detail.

Hallmarked in Dublin castle assuring quality, information on the inspiration for this wonderful design is included with each carefully crafted cross.
