This sterling silver St Patrick cross was designed by Michael Hilliar, one of Ireland's most accomplished and talented silversmith's. According to tradition the remains of St Patrick along with St Brdigid and St Columcille were interred on the hill of Downpatrick Co Down. The burial site is marked with this cross fulfilling the prophecy that the three Saints of Ireland be buried in the same place.
St Patrick was responsible for bringing Christianity to Ireland and his day is celebrated by every nationality on March 17th.
The cross has a very striking appearance with clean cut lines allowing perfect symmetry and balance.
