About This Piece

Warrior Shield drop earrings.The ornate design is inspired from Ireland's most famous treasure an 8th century Chalice, called the Ardagh. This magnificent Chalice is on display in the Dublin Museum for all to enjoy. The original chalice forms the basics of shields with intricate and complex filigree patterns that swirl and flow seamlessly. Our skilled craftsmen have taken their inspiration from the chalice and have managed to replicate this beautiful pattern.

On closer inspection you will notice a highly polished bead in the centre with a fine miligrain edge that really accentuates the exquisite Celtic pattern. Beautifully made to exacting standards, the workmanship is outstanding.

These earrings are extremely attractive with a hook fitting that snaps shut and lies flush against the ear. Easy to operate, and very secure.
