About this Piece

Over forty years ago Michael Hilliar designed a range of jewelry with 12 Irish symbols. The images represent the most important stages of our Irish History.

Michael who resides in Dublin won an award for this clever design and over the years added many new items to his collection. Since his retirement five years ago Michael's range of jewelry is only available from My Irish Jeweler. Each piece is stamped on the back with his initials and a shamrock as a guarantee of authenticity.

This sterling silver bracelet would be a favorite among Irish people. The chain on the bracelet are made of very solid heavy belcher links. The oval disc has a Celtic Cross in the center which was such a distinctive expression of Christianity.

St Patrick is the first symbol to appear on the disc and perhaps one of the most important. Our patron saint changed the course of history in the 5th century when he began his mission of converting Ireland to Christianity. The last symbol is the question mark to indicate what is the future or Quo Vadis.

A fabulous gift for the person who appreciates quality at its best. A detailed booklet comes with every piece with a very nice box.
Available in two lengths, 7.25" standard Ladies size or 8.5" for Men.

Engrave the back of the oval disc to make this bracelet even more special (additional cost)

This work of art is more than a piece of jewelry because it makes a statement of identity, inheritance, culture and an acknowledgement of the Celtic background from which we are descendants. I have five daughters, each of which have this particular bracelet and I know they cherish it because they have a unique sense of what it represents something I love to think as a worthwhile part of their inheritance. Peter, long may you enjoy good health and continue to make works of art like this for a long time to come. Siobhan
