Our amazing craftsmen have created these beautiful pierced earrings taking their inspiration from the Ardagh Chalice.. The earrings are set in Sterling Silver inlaid with an 18k Yellow Gold bead. The oval shape is very pleasing to the eye as it has a very soft and flattering shape.Very comfortable to wear and make a great conversation piece.
The earring fittings are very secure. Easy to operate as they snap shut and lie flush against the earlobe.The long part of the oval measures 27.1mm (just under an inch)

This intricate design is taken from one of Ireland's most famous artefact. The Chalice was found by accident by two farmers whilst digging for potatoes in 1868. The Chalice is now proudly housed in Dublin Museum for all to admire this exceptional Irish treasure.
