Tell Me About Your Lifetime Warranty.
Last Updated: May 16, 2026
Here at My Irish Jeweler, we are proud of the caliber and craftsmanship that goes into our range. Therefore, we offer a free lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on all our fine jewelry, excluding chains. We cover all chains shipped for manufacturing faults for the first six months after purchase.
If you have an issue with your jewelry that you believe is due to a manufacturing failure, please contact us so we can arrange for the piece to be assessed. Please include pictures where possible so that we can see what you’re seeing. If we deem the item needs to be returned to Dublin for assessment or repair, we will provide a free return shipping label to customers in the US, Canada, Australia, Europe, and the UK. For other regions, please contact us for return instructions.
If the deficiency is due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the item at no cost to you, at our discretion.
We will provide a quote for any repair work not covered by the lifetime warranty. If you approve the quote, we’ll send a payment link. Once payment is received, your piece will be passed to the workshop. If you choose not to proceed with the repair, the item will be returned to you in the same condition in which it was received.
Please note that any repairs or alterations made by a third party will void our warranty.
All fine jewelry can be affected by everyday wear and tear. This is especially true for rings and chains, which tend to come into contact with the world more forcefully than other items. Please ensure that you treat your precious metals and gemstones with care. Aside from regular gentle cleaning and visual checks on your jewelry, we recommend that claw and prong set engagement rings and wedding rings be checked annually to ensure they remain secure. Precious metals wear down over time, and restoration work may be necessary to keep your prongs secure and your gemstones intact. Failure to maintain your jewelry can result in the loss of precious gems.
Our warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Loss of pendants from broken chains
- Loss of earrings
- Loss of, or damage to, gemstones
- Product loss or theft
- Damage caused by failure to obtain necessary repairs (see above regarding annual checks)
- The discoloration of precious metals caused by chemicals, cosmetics, pools, hot tubs, or bathing.
