The rings on this page, handcrafted in Dublin, have been inspired by one of Ireland's foremost treasures, the Ardagh Chalice.
Discovered in 1868 by two boys digging in a potato field in Ardagh, Co. Limerick, the Ardagh Chalice is widely regarded as the finest example of 8th Century metalwork ever discovered. The gold filigree band on the Chalice and the shield decorations form the basis of the design featured in these rings.
