This is a beautiful example of our famous Celtic Crosses. A lovely embossed design with a shiny circle surrounding the pattern. In pagan times the circle represented the sun. However, in the 4th century AD the Roman Emperor introduced the circle to represent Christ's victory.
The original Celtic Crosses were made of stone and dotted all over Ireland's landscape. Today, due to fantastic and talented craftsmen, they have replicated the design into wearable jewelry and as a result worn proudly by many Irish people to this day.
Cross is measured including the bale. The reverse side can be engraved ( extra charge )
