About This Piece

An intricately crafted silver cross with lots of interest. The four arms of the cross are studded with glistening marcasite stones. Marcasite has been used in jewelry dating back to Victorian times and adds a lovely antique feel and metallic luster.

The proportions of the cross are excellent creating a lovely balance and symmetry. The arms of the cross include intricate filigree knot work including iconic trinity knot emblems and infinity knots. Representing eternity and eternal love, as well as the holy trinity, this is a beautiful and ancient symbol to include in a celtic cross.

And no feature has been overlooked with the decorative bale set with three small marcasite stones and the reverse of the cross is polished to a mirror sheen.
