This Sterling Silver brooch is handmade by Aidan Breen. Aidan resides ind Dublin and is a master Silversmith who served his apprenticeship as a 'Chaser'. As a young man Aidan was fascinated with the treasures on display at the National Museum. His designs are based on famous artifacts such as the Book of Kells, a masterpiece of World Art decorated with intricate interlacing designs.

This brooch is called the Celtic 3 dog. The image of the dog features repeatedly in the illustrations of the Book Of Kells. Aidan's attention to detail is outstanding and this brooch is made with great flair and imagination. This is a stunning piece to wear on the lapel of a jacket or a heavy sweater. The Celtic 3 dog hound is watchful, protective and ever-loyal.
