The design for these gold necklace is taken from one of Ireland's foremost treasures, the Ardagh Chalice, The Chalice was found in Co Limerick in 1868 and is now housed in the National Museum of Ireland in Dublin.
The rim of the Chalice features shield decorations and intricate filigree work which form the basis of the Warrior Shield necklace. Beautifully executed with marvelous attention to detail.
