Sumptuous oval drop earrings. This ornate design is inspired from Ireland's most cherised artefact called the Ardagh Chalice. Found in 1868 Co Limerick the pattern on the Chalice forms the basis of shield decorations with an intricate and elaborate pattern.
On closer examination you will notice the shields have a highly polished bead in the center. This is surrounded by a fine milligrain edge. The bead accentuates the magnificent ornate design in all its splendour. The pattern has a 'Matte or Florintine' finish that really stands out. These earrings are really splendid. The fittings are very secure, they hook around the earlobe and snap shut, and also ensure the earrings dangle correctly.
