This Sterling Silver pendant is called the celtic 3 dog. On closer inspection you can make out the splendid detail of the 3 dogs as well as the fine Celtic engraving. Beautifully made with a top quality finish. The pendant has a very nice shape and sits perfectly on the neckline. The larger pendant is suitable for the person who loves to wear statement pieces.
Most of Aidan's designs are in animal format to included birds and dogs with traditional Celtic knotwork throughout. His inspiration is taken from our famous Book of Kells, housed in Trinity College Dublin. Aidan Breen is one of Ireland's finest silversmiths. He was trained in his craft by a traditional seven year apprenticeship as a 'chaser' Born in Dublin Aidan was a pioneer of the Renaissance of Celtic jewelry. When the Celtic revival got its second wind in the 1970's Aidan was in a unique position to lead a new generation of artists and craftsmen as the acknowledged master of this style.
