This 12mm Ardagh Chalice ring has been crafted using high quality materials combined with modern techniques to recreate elements of the Ardagh Chalice design, a most famous Irish artefact now housed in our National Museum.
The filigree band on the original Ardagh Chalice has a series of shield decorations with a complex and highly decorative Celtic pattern. This design forms the basis of the Ardagh Chalice ring and the pattern repeats around the entire band.
This band is a substantial ring, with eyec-atching detail. The pattern has been blackened, or oxidized to give it an 'antique' or 'rugged' look'. The side trims are flattened to a very high polish, which highlight the minute and intricate design in the center.
This is a fantastic opportunity to purchase and wear a little piece of Irish history. Beautifully made, and superb quality.
