About This Piece

This is a remarkable sterling silver celtic cross with lots of detail and meaning, The design and inspiration has been taken from the 4 Gospels.

The center of the cross has a pierced or cut out Celtic design which allows a lot of light to pass through. The cross has a striking Celtic pattern that has been highly polished. Our skilled craftsmen have used special tools to create different textures that highlight the area behind the Celtic pattern which has a 'Matte' or dull finish.The cross has a nice substantial weight and feel to it, ideal for the person who likes to wear larger pieces.

The reverse of the cross have the names Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The names appear on the back of the cross and situated at points North, South, East and West. To enhance the cross further, a beautiful elongated celtic scroll pattern is engraved above the name 'Mark'. With such lovely meaning, it is hardly surprising why this cross is so popular in Ireland.
