About This Piece

We have hand-engraved 'Celtic Warrior' in the in Ogham alphabet on the photo image as an example. Choose a name or a word of significance for your loved one. Ogham is the oldest form of Irish writing dating back over 100 years - the first known alphabet of ancient Irish. The Ogham alphabet consists of groups of lines set across a vertical stem-line. Each group represents a different letter or sound in the gaelic language.

Ogham was initially carved on stones, often to honor loved ones. A tradition continuing today through our jewlery. The iconic Newgrange triskele or tri-spiral has been added as finishing touch representing progress, interconnectedness and spirituality. Neggrange is a world heritage site in Ireland that dates back over 5000 years.

The reverse side has a makers mark - a shamrock emblem with the designers initials stamped in each leaf. The sterling silver assay stamp showing .925 is also present.
