About This Piece

Delightfully tactile with its airy loops of gold vermeil, this Trinity knot design has no beginning or end. Its gentle curving shape is delicately set with glittering cubic zirconia stones, emphasizing a sense of fluidity and movement.

Like the tri-spiral and shamrock, both enduring symbols of Ireland, the Trinity knot is an eloquent sign of the wonders of life which tend to come in threes: morning, noon, and night; earth, sea, and sky; the past, present, and future; the Christian Trinity; mind, body, and spirit; the list goes on. In modern times, too, its unbroken form means it's become known as the Celtic love knot - unceasingly weaving through its own ups and downs but always remaining true to its course.

Measuring 0.87" / 22mm in height and width, the pendant hangs on an 18-inch gold vermeil chain with a 2-inch extension, secured by a user-friendly lobster clasp, allowing it to be worn at several lengths. Choose between the charming studs or the elegant drops, both of which are a welcome addition to any jewel box. The studs measure 0.39" / 10mm in height and width. The drops measure 1.1" / 28mm in length and 0.47" / 12mm wide, hanging from comfortable, secure leverback fittings.

Crafted with a durable 925 sterling silver base, generously plated with 14k gold, the earrings are hallmarked in Dublin Castle's Assay Office to ensure their quality and provenance.
