About This Piece

This Sterling silver ring forms the basis of a tree and branch pattern, with the branches spreading out into a semi-fan shape. The area behind the tree has been oxidized or blackened with an uneven texture to give it that irresistible old world or 'lived-in look'.

In modern times the Trinity knot has come to represent eternity or eternal life, as the knots have no real beginning or ending. A stunning Celtic braid has been added to the shoulders and shank, giving the ring a nice side profile.
