About This Piece

The wearing of the shamrock is thought to bring good luck to the wearer. The three leaves of the shamrock are thought to represent love, faith and hope. The shamrock emblem is studded with marcasite stones adding a subtle shine due to the metallic grayish colour. The outer circle has delicate scalloped edges painstakingly set with faceted marcasite stones.

The area behind the delicate shamrock is inlaid with Ireland's natural and rare gemstone, Connemara Marble. The shade of green varies from a rich sage green to a deep moss green often speckled with interesting fissures and mottled spots. This is not to be considered a flaw, indeed, it is part of the charm of this unique stone.

Earrings are measured excluding the fittings. The earring fittings are easy to operate, wrapping around the earlobe ensuring they dangle perfectly. The reverse side of the earrings have the word IRELAND on the outer circle.
