This Sterling Silver necklace is handmade by award winning Irish master silversmith and designer, Aidan Breen.

The design is inspired by the spectacular illustrations in Ireland's world-famous illuminated manuscripts like the Book of Kells. The necklace features a pierced triskele design surrounded by beautiful Celtic la Tené flourishes.

The Triskele is a truly ancient symbol that features in Celtic decorative art, but has much older roots that can be traced back over 5000 years in Ireland. Known by many as the oldest symbol of spirituality, the tri-spiral or triskele represents many things to different people including growth, spirituality, progress, and interconnection.

Aidan has an extraordinary talent for finesse and delicacy. Many try to imitate and copy his designs. However, once you feel the weight and quality of Aidan's work, you are left in no doubt as to why his pieces are so sought after by collectors around the globe.
