New this October

Eternity and cyclicity fascinated our Celtic Ancestors. The Ancient Irish Calendar marked out important turning points in the year like the Spring and Autumn Equinox, the Solstice and the festivals of Imbolc, Bealtaine, Lunasa, and Samahin.

Our beautiful Irish landscape is dotted with spectacular stone circles like the one at Drombeg in Co. Cork, leaving us in no doubt of our ancestors fascination with the cycle of time.

Our New Halo Collection

Inspired by our ancestors and the turning of the seasons, our new Halo Pendant collection has been crafted with your important occasions for the coming season in mind. Featuring iconic Irish symbols embraced by an unbroken sparkling circle representing eternity, they are deeply meaningful pieces perfect for party season.

Read on to find out more about the inspiration, symbolism and heritage behind each piece.

The Claddagh Halo

The beautiful sentiment of the iconic Claddagh symbol is a powerful combination with the unbroken halo of sparkling stones. Representing Eternal Love, Loyalty, and Friendship, this Claddagh Halo pendant is a meaningful and thoughtful gift for a friend or loved one.

The Claddagh has been gifted in Ireland for centuries. We love the contrast between the clean lines of this symbol with the fine milgrain detailing and sparkling CZ stones of the halo. Crafted in warm 10K gold and hallmarked here in Ireland at historic Dublin Castle, this pendant has been made with attention and care.

The Celtic Tree of Life Halo

The Celtic Tree of Life symbol at the center of this Halo pendant speaks of Knowledge, Love, Health, and Prosperity encircled by a ring of sparkling CZ stones signifying eternity.

For many, the branches and roots also represent a connection to family, strength and resilience. The versatile symbolism of this design is a beautiful connection to Celtic Heritage.

The Celtic Shield Knot Halo

Don't let the beauty and elegance of this intricate knot work fool you. Representing strength, protection and good health, the Celtic Shield Knot at the center of this Halo pendant makes it a piece to wear into battle!

For many, the four interconnected Trinity knots of the shield knot represent the four seasons, the four elements (earth, wind, fire and water) or even the four points of a compass. Fitting symbolism for a piece inspired by cyclicity and eternity - perfect for a gift or a treat for yourself!

The Trinity Knot Halo

Representing eternity and the past, present and future, the symbolism of this Trinity Knot Halo pendant is also ideally suited to gifting.

The striking symbolism of the two intricate and intertwined strands of the double Trinity Knot are a perfect match for the sparkling 'eternal' Halo that surrounds it.

Made for Gifting

And as with any of our beautifully crafted jewelry, if you choose to make one of these new pieces your own, it will arrive safely to you nestled in a luxury gift box. Perfect for gifting and instagram ready for those photos to capture happy memories!

My Irish Jeweler

Born in Co. Antrim and reared in Dublin, I was fascinated with Gaelic culture from an early age. I suppose it's not surprising given my mother inherited a grá for the Irish language from my grandfather, an Irish school headmaster. And that grá continues! My brother and sister are now Gaelic teachers here in Ireland, my niece is an award winning Irish dancer, and I proudly work to share Irish culture through our Irish and Celtic Jewelry at My Irish Jeweler!

I love researching and reading about the history of Irish design. It's at the core of what we do here at My Irish Jeweler. I find much of it so interesting that I have to share what I find. I hope you enjoy it!
