The diamond has the effect of highlighting the intricate celtic knot pattern and shields.The wide trims are a delightful addition also.
This beautiful design is taken from one of Ireland's most treasured artifacts, the Ardagh Chalice, which was discovered in Lough Gur, Co Limerick in 1868. The filigree work on the Ardagh Chalice features shield decorations and this design forms the basis which we have used in this ring.
A ring to treasure and admire this ring is quality at its best, with stunning attention to detail. The design repeats itself around the band.
