About This Piece

Lios is an Irish word for the ancient and enigmatic circular forts, mounds, and stone circles that dot the beautiful Irish countryside. From the spectacular form of Newgrange, to the small fairy forts found in local fields, these curious structures provide a connection to the magic and mystery of ancient Ireland.

Inspired by this landscape, Miriam Wade, an award-winning Irish goldsmith and designer from Co. Westmeath, has combined simple yet modern circular forms to create a timeless and elegant necklace and earring gift set, perfect for wearing individually or together, that celebrates a genuine connection to Ireland.

Designed and hand-crafted in Ireland, using solid sterling silver and carrying the stamp of quality and authenticity from the Irish Assay Office. The necklace hangs on an ingenuous hidden bale and can be worn between 16" or 18" on the included chain. The drop earrings hang elegantly on secure and easy-to-operate fishhook fittings.
