Inspired by a vision of the Virgin Mary in 1830’s Paris, miraculous medals are cherished by people around the globe. Especially popular in Ireland, miraculous medals are celebrated weekly at a shrine dedicated to them in St.Peter’s Church in Dublin.
Said to grant “abundant graces” to those who wear them, these medals gained their lofty name due to the miracles attributed to their formation and wear.
Faithful to the original 1830’s design by French goldsmith Adrien Vachette, this medal has been carefully crafted in warm 9K gold. The medal depicts Mary imparting graces with a matte finish picking out every intricate detail of the lovely design.
Solid and pleasingly weighty, this medal measures 0.78 inches wide by 1.49 inches high including the bale.
The pendant includes a 9k gold 18" light cable chain. If you prefer something longer or heavier, choose from our handpicked selection of gold chains.
