About This Piece

These Ogham bracelets are distinctive pieces any man or woman would be proud to wear. Combining a classic ID style first popularised during WWII with the enigmatic and ancient Irish Ogham alphabet, these bracelets are a beautiful blend of contemporary design and ancient Irish traditions and craft.

The Ogham alphabet consists of groups of lines, set across a vertical "stem-line" that can be traced back at least 1500 years in Ireland. Ogham was first engraved on stones to honor loved ones that still stand around Ireland with it used for engravings on treasured jewellery as far back as medieval times.

This enigmatic script is beautifully complimented by the solid and strong links of these bracelets, with their diamond cut edges ensuring sharp sleek lines that lie flat for comfortable wear. The sterling silver name plates are also gently curved ensuring the bracelets sit comfortably and flush on the wrist with strong trigger clasps for security. Everything about these pieces speaks strongly of enduring quality. Future family heirlooms to treasure and pass down generations.

We think these bracelets work best with just one word engraved in Ogham for a striking look. You might choose to engrave names, terms of endearment, or words of significance for you or your loved ones. Whatever you choose, it will be hand engraved by our master engraver, creating something truly bespoke and unique to you. We can also include an iconic Newgrange triskele in the engraving if there is sufficient space. Newgrange is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dating back over 5000 years and the symbol is regarded by many as the oldest symbol of spirituality, representing progress, growth and connection.

As advertised. Customer service was top notch, Engraving accurate. If I had to do over again I would get 2 of the gents as the size difference does not make a difference on my wife's wrist, however the engraving is a bit larger, clearer, easier to read.
