This stunning Sterling Silver Glendalough necklace is handmade by Irish Master Silversmith Aidan Breen. An exceptionally talented designer and craftsman, Aidan draws inspiration for his striking designs from Celtic Myth, ancient Irish treasures and heritage.
The design of this eye catching necklace was inspired by Aidan's 100 km bike ride to Glendalough in County Wicklow. With its spectacular Monastic ruins, round tower and intricately carved Celtic Crosses, Glendalough is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Ireland. Drawing inspiration from the intricate and ancient stone carved knot work at Glendalough, Aidan crafted this design in substantial sterling silver. And it has been hallmarked here in Ireland at historic Dublin Castle attesting to the necklace quality and craft.
This striking and substantial necklace features four pierced interwoven Celtic Knots with no beginning or end. Representing eternity to many, these ornate Celtic knots can be found adorning the impressive ancient stone crosses still standing at Glendalough.
Beautifully made by one of the premier silversmiths of this generation with no detail overlooked, this necklace is a unique piece of Irish design and a future family heirloom to be passed down generations.

Choose from three sizes - small, medium and large. The large necklace includes a 24 inch Sterling Silver Chain, the medium includes a 20 inch chain and the small includes an 18 inch chain.

Lovely piece of jewellery, arrived safe and sound on the day specified. One thing I should have asked but totally forgot, was a question on the chain. I brought the brooch for my wife’s birthday and as we are both getting older now I wondered if you did the chain with a magnetic catch?
