Meet the Maker: Miriam Wade, Our Newest Collaborator
Written by Gemma on Jul 10, 2025 | 0 Comments
Over our long history, My Irish Jeweler has been privileged to work with creative powerhouses in fine Irish jewelry design and craft like Aidan Breen and Michael Hilliar, both of whom are known and respected internationally.
We’re always on the lookout for new collaborations with innovators we admire, and we are delighted to have found a real artist in Miriam Wade.

An artist and artisan
Miriam is part of a new generation of artisans who draw on their experience of Ireland in their jewelry design, utilising centuries-old techniques to create vibrant, beautiful, and modern treasures.

Hailing from the midlands in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and driven by a deep love of art, Miriam studied jewelry and metalwork at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. She began creating her own jewelry collection in 2014, inspired by the quiet beauty of the historical landscape of her childhood in the heart of Ireland.
Timeless and Elegant Style
Miriam designs and carefully handcrafts beautiful pieces with organic patterns and geometric forms, creating elegant, simple, and modern pieces. And just like the landscape they echo, her designs are timeless and captivating. Miriam works only with precious metals, and her work carries the trusted stamp of authenticity from the Irish Assay Office.
We are thrilled to share Miriam’s designs with our friends around the globe.
Lios
Lios, pronounced lish, is an Irish word for the 40,000 and counting ancient and enigmatic circular forts, mounds, and stone circles that dot the beautiful Irish countryside.

From the spectacular 5000 year old imposing form of Newgrange, to the small “fairy forts” found in local fields that trace their roots back over 1000 years, these curious structures provide a connection to the magic and mystery of ancient Ireland. Miriam’s meticulously hand-crafted pieces echo these ancient and enigmatic places and are perfect for any occasion, made with love here in Ireland.
